Indisco Kitchens & Baths

When the original owner started Indisco in 1977, he provided kitchen design services, cabinetry, countertops, and hardware primarily to home builders and contractors. Over time, his customer base shifted to include homeowners, and the business leadership transferred to a family member.  As time passed, the business’s reputation declined, along with sales revenues.

In December 2023, the company was purchased by a father/son duo with experience in business, construction, and kitchen design.

The Challenge
At the time of purchase, the company website, SEO, and digital marketing were managed by a national company. The basic website included out-of-date images, confusing navigation, and unattractive design, and was built to show up in searches for Scarborough, Maine only.  The poor online branding impacted customers' perception of the business and presented the company as out-of-touch with current kitchen trends and products.

With new ownership came the desire to improve the brand and reputation of the business, elevate services, and grow revenues.  Granular Creative was brought into the project several months following the purchase to design and build a quality website that would help relaunch the business.

What We Did
Through a series of meetings, we learned about their ideal customers, how they provide services to their customers, and about their market. We discussed design options, branding, and how to generate leads through online searches and their website.

After reviewing the current website structure, content, and SEO, we recommend the new website start with an attractive design that builds a strong, appealing brand, and an intuitive navigation structure with internal links making it easy for visitors to easily find information. We also expanded the “SEO net” to capture a broader local audience and upgraded the volume of quality links back to the website.  While two articles were included in the website build, additional articles will expand the footprint of the website and attract more visitors.

The new 9-page website exceeded the client's goals. The olive green and purple colors from the client’s new logo were used throughout the website along with professional photography to showcase products or concepts. The new navigation structure in the header and footer make it easy for visitors to find the right page and on-page links encourage visitors to move around the website. There are numerous opportunities to contact Indisco to schedule a showroom appointment. We’ve also included a “Kitchen Design Kit” as a lead magnet to attract potential customers.

What We Achieved
The owner is very pleased with the new website and the brand identity that it's developed for the company. The website continues to climb in searches to dominate the local market and strongly contributes to the company's rebrand and rejuvenated reputation. It was nominated for a national design award in 2024.
