Eco-Pro Construction is a residential home builder and general contractor serving central, southern, and coastal Maine homeowners. With over 35 years in the residential construction industry, president, Eric Hallee brings deep experience using sustainable building products and best practices and a passion for quality to each project.  Before striking out on his own, Hallee built over 500 eco-friendly homes often for doctors, attorneys and other high-income/,net-worth individuals.

The Challenge

When we first met Eric Hallee, he was launching his general contracting business and needed a memorable brand identity, business card, and other branded collateral for meetings with potential clients.

The logo design had to clearly identify his company, their industry, and their commitment to building eco-friendly and sustainable high-end homes. The business cards, brochure, and stationery needed to reflect the attention to detail and quality the clients expected to see in the homes built by Eco-Pro Construction.

To continue building credibility for Eco-Pro Construction, a quality website that demonstrated the quality, services, and work philosophy of the company needed to be built. Additionally, Eco-Pro Construction's name and contact information needed to show up strongly across the internet.

What We Did
Through a series of meetings, we learned about Eco-Pro Construction’s clients, how they build homes or handle remodeling, and their goals for branding and their website. We discussed design options, branding, and how to generate leads through online searches and their website.

We started with the logo design which defines the colors and general design of all printed marketing materials and the website. Since the company is focused on sustainable construction, green was an obvious choice for color and blue is the color of integrity.

Once the logo was completed, we focused on the two-sided business card design printed on heavy stock with a velvet finish. We also developed the tagline “Building Maine’s Premier Homes” used in all marketing.  Next, we created electronic letterhead for proposals and other business documents. Printed on glossy stock, the trifold brochure uses stunning graphics and quality writing to build out the company brand.  The standard business envelopes can be used for business correspondence or mailing brochures.

As the branding was finalized, we started building an online presence for Eco-Pro Construction. We started the website build by defining the navigation structure/pages as Home, New Construction, Remodeling, About Us, and Contact Us. The new 5-page website combines strong design, based on the company logo colors, stunning graphics, and compelling writing to create a strong brand identity and credibility for the company. The homepage includes a slideshow with quality images, service feature boxes, an About section of the President, and service areas. The two service pages includes information about their New Construction Process or Home Remodeling services. When any form on the website is completed, Mr. Hallee is automatically notified via email within seconds so he can respond quickly. All copy for the website was professionally written. Case studies and other service pages will be built later.

The Brochure and Website have both been recognized for design excellence and won awards in the American Graphic Design Competition in New York.
