ABOUT GCMD : Granular Creative Marketing & Design

Over the past 13 years, we’ve partnered with some wonderful clients, created some great designs, solved plenty of problems and won a few awards along the way.

As a team, we’re driven to help our clients through the tough times and bring them through to the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is especially true for businesses going through transition: things don’t always go as planned.

Through our experiences helping business owners at their most difficult times, we’ve seen (and solved) some of the most frustrating issues pivoting companies can face, including:
  • Websites and social media channels not transferred to new business owners
  • Domain names lost because the proper steps were not taken to protect them from expiration – and being bought by competitors to sabotage a company’s success online
  • Poorly designed, but expensive websites that damage a company’s brand and attract the wrong leads
  • Poorly developed sites that don’t have the most basic of SEO techniques implemented
In fact, we realized we like solving problems so much, we decided to focus our agency solely on helping established businesses in transition move through changes as smoothly and painlessly as possible with stunningly beautiful branding and amazing websites.

The GCMD team brings cutting-edge strategy, creative execution and professional dedication to every project we work on, investing our full attention to understand your needs and plans for your company’s future.

We believe digital marketing campaigns need to ignite emotion in order to spark action, and that’s why we strive to make every campaign completely human, regardless of the digital means that we use to promote it.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Alexandra Heseltine

Her passion for great design coupled with a knack for thinking like a customer and great project management skills have made for many successful design and marketing projects. She has been involved with art and design since early childhood, built the first intranet for a Maine hospital around 1999 and has organized newsworthy events and marketing involving state and regional dignitaries.

A techie and communications buff, she has been around design and marketing for over 25 years with industry experience ranging from non-profits and healthcare to successful small-mid-sized businesses, construction, real estate companies, law and banking. Under her direction, GCMD has won seven national awards for graphic and web design.

In her spare time, she likes reading marketing books, growing flowers, baking goodies, watching adventure movies, traveling to new places, laughing with friends and riding a motorcycle.
